Ivanescente is a 1958 by Marie-Louise Carven, held at Palais Galliera - Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris.
This sketch shows a woman in a loose, green dress with puffy sleeves and a high waist tied with a bow. Her skirt flares out as she walks, and she wears a dark hat pulled low. The lines are quick and confident, with watercolor shading to show folds in the fabric. The small drawing in the corner looks like a flat pattern of the same dress, maybe a design plan. The name *Ivanescente* is written in the top-right corner, but we don’t know what it means. If you like fashion sketches, check out womenswear from the 1960s for more styles like this.
