Untitled is a 1984 watercolor by Bruce Nauman, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This painting shows three overlapping glass-and-steel buildings floating in space. The structures are drawn with thick black lines, and their windows are empty rectangles. Bright red and yellow slashes peek through the glass, like sunsets trapped inside. The buildings don’t quite touch the ground—they seem to hover. The background is a pale, rough wash of color, almost like smudged chalk. If you like this, check out Bruce Nauman.
