About this work

This print set has three panels. Each one is a grid of thick, wavy black lines on a flat color—black-violet, black-green, black-orange. The lines look neat but bend in slow waves like sound waves on a screen. Walsh carves each line by hand into wood, then prints it three times. The colors stay solid while the lines move. It’s quiet but busy at the same time. Compare these to Dan Walsh’s other grid prints.
