Untitled is a 1970 ink by Fritz Scholder, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This black-and-white drawing shows a person in traditional clothing. They’re wearing a long coat with a belt that has a cross symbol on it. A beaded vest sits over the coat, and there’s a feathered headdress on their head. Their hands are clasped in front, and the lines are bold and simple. The artist used a printmaking method where ink is pressed onto stone or metal. This creates sharp, clean edges like you see here. Look up lithography to see how it works.
