This sketch shows a figure lying down, wrapped in a blanket or cloth. The person’s head is covered, and their body is curled up tightly. The lines are rough and uneven, almost like scribbles, with lots of shading that makes the figure look heavy and still. The artist used a lot of overlapping lines to build up the dark areas, which gives the drawing a scratchy, textured feel. It’s not polished—it looks more like a quick, raw sketch than a finished piece. Want to see more work like this? Check out cross-hatching.
