'Corso' is a 1951 by Marie-Louise Carven, held at Palais Galliera - Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris.
This sketch shows a woman in a long, flowing dress with a draped bodice and a high slit on one side. She’s holding a small purse under her arm and has her hair pulled back. The dress is drawn in loose, warm brown lines, while the background is plain and light. The artist signed it “Corso” in the corner, which was a nickname for the designer Carven. The sketch feels quick and loose, like a first idea rather than a finished plan. Look up Marie-Louise Carven to see more of her work.
