This sketch shows a woman in a flowing evening gown. The dress has a fitted bodice with buttons down the front and a wide, flowing skirt that looks like it’s made of layers of fabric. Her hair is pulled back, and she’s standing with one hand resting on her chest. The title, *Robe d’un soir*, means "evening dress" in French.
