This piece looks like a rough, textured board with uneven shapes glued on. Some of the shapes are dark squares with thin white strings tied to them. Others are lighter, almost like faded drawings. The whole thing feels raw and uneven, like it was made by hand with simple materials. The strings and squares might be the main focus—some are tied in knots, others just dangling. The artist used everyday stuff like paper, soot, and spit to create it, which makes it feel different from polished paintings. If you like this style, check out James Castle for more work like this.
