About this work

This print is mostly black and white, with thick, rough lines and shapes. You see a figure that looks like a person sitting or crouching, but it’s hard to tell because the lines are messy and overlapping. There’s a large, dark block on the right side and a smaller white patch near the center. The artist used a mix of scratching and ink layers to create texture—some areas look almost torn. The edges of the paper are jagged, like it was cut by hand. Look up etching to see how this technique works.
