About this work

This painting shows a simple but striking shape against a blue background. A brown, blob-like form floats near the top, with a small black circle and two white curves underneath it. Below, a wavy white line cuts across the blue, like a horizon or a wave. The artist cut out and layered parts of the painting to create depth.
