Untitled is a 1966 graphite by Joe Tilson, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This drawing shows a big triangle made of zigzag lines. The lines are bright colors—orange, yellow, green, and purple. The shapes look like blocks stacked up, but they’re just drawn with crayons and pencil. The paper has grid lines in the background. The artist used only crayons and pencil, no paint. The colors fade a little where the crayon was pressed hard. Look up Joe Tilson next—he made this in 1966.
Joseph Charles Tilson was a British visual artist and fellow of the Royal Academy. He was involved in the Pop Art movement in the 1960s; he made paintings, prints and constructions.
