This sketch looks messy on purpose. You see wavy lines in soft blues and browns, some sharp black marks cutting across, and a few faint shapes that might be objects or just scribbles. The paper has a rough texture, and the colors blend unevenly, like something drawn quickly or left unfinished. The artist used pastel sticks—those soft, chalky crayons—to make the marks.
