This drawing shows a tilted yellow box floating on a thin blue line—like water. A yellow pole sticks up from it, with scribbled German words like *"Wir sind Schiffe auf dem Meer"* (We are ships on the sea). Below, a pink bar is labeled *"Babylon was a whore."* The lines are loose, almost like a quick sketch. The words play with ideas of freedom and weight—ships on the sea, but also a heavy label for Babylon. The artist used simple shapes and text to make you think. Check out Lawrence Weiner to see how he turns words into art.
