Untitled is a 1936 ink by Marie Laurencin, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This sketch shows a group of people gathered around a small, odd-shaped car. A woman in a long dress stands on the left, while others in hats and coats lean in toward the car. One man holds a rabbit, and the scene looks like a casual, outdoor moment with loose, sketchy lines. The car’s name, *Renault*, is written at the bottom, along with the year *1898*—but this drawing was made later. The artist used quick, light strokes to capture the scene, giving it a playful, unfinished feel. Look up lithography to see how this print was made.
Marie Laurencin (31 October 1883 – 8 June 1956) was a French painter and printmaker. She became an important figure in the Parisian avant-garde as a member of the Cubists associated with the Section d'Or.
