This picture shows a body with the skin peeled back. You can see the ribs, spine, and some organs inside. The colors are mostly dark gray with a few orange lines. The artist used a method called aquatint to make the shading look soft. Tiny marks create the texture of skin and bone. Look up etching to see how artists carve lines into metal plates.
