About this work

This image shows six shapes—four half-circles, one triangle, and one full circle—all filled with faint, sketchy lines. The lines look like they were drawn quickly, almost like scratch marks, and the shapes are arranged in a row against a plain white background. The half-circles and triangle are empty except for the texture, while the full circle has a darker, wavy line cutting through it. The artist used a technique called *drypoint*, where lines are scratched into a surface to create prints. This makes the marks look rough and uneven, like pencil on paper but more deliberate.
