About this work

This drawing shows a row of simple, blocky figures stacked in three lines. Each figure has a large head, a small body, and long, thin arms and legs. They’re all facing the same way, with some holding round objects like wheels or balls. The lines are clean but slightly fuzzy, like they were scratched into the surface. The figures look like they’re all doing the same thing, but no one is quite the same. Some have extra lines or shapes around them—maybe tools or just odd details. The whole thing feels a little mechanical, like a pattern repeated over and over. If you like this style, check out etching to see how artists create these kinds of lines.
