Untitled is a 2014 ink by Richard Tuttle, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This drawing shows a swirling spiral of thin lines, like a maze or a target. Inside the loops, there are small, irregular shapes—some look like boats or arrows, all cut out and floating. The whole thing sits on a plain white background, and the title *"Around the House"* is scrawled in uneven letters at the bottom. The cut-out shapes make you wonder what they mean—are they symbols, or just abstract shapes? The artist used a printmaking method to create both the lines and the holes. Next, check out how etching works to see how artists carve into metal plates to make prints.
Richard Dean Tuttle (born July 12, 1941) is an American postminimalist artist known for his small, casual, subtle, intimate works.
