About this work

This painting is a wild mix of bright colors and bold shapes. On the left, there’s a red and yellow figure standing next to a yellow tent. In the middle, a black-and-white patterned wall hides a door with a green triangle. To the right, a red bow sits on a couch, and a white vase leans against a blue wall. Everything looks flat and graphic, like it’s cut from comic pages. The artist used real printed images—like newspaper clippings—and pasted them together. The red bow is the only thing that looks soft, while the rest is sharp and geometric. If you like this style, check out Roy Lichtenstein.
