This black-and-white drawing shows a crowd of people gathered closely together. Some are saluting, others are holding hats to their chests, and a few look serious or confused. In the center, a man in a military uniform stands with his arm raised, while another man next to him holds a mug. At the bottom, two smaller faces peek out from under a flag with stars. The artist packed a lot of emotion into small faces—some look determined, others tired or skeptical.
