About this work

This image is a wild, tangled mess of black ink lines on a white background. You see swirls, dots, and shapes that look like they’re moving but don’t quite make sense—some resemble birds, others like plants or scribbles. The whole thing feels busy, almost like a storm caught on paper. The artist used two sheets of plastic stuck together, then drew right on top. That’s why some lines look sharp and others fade into the background. Next, check out Sue Williams to see how she plays with ink and space.
