This is a close-up of a hand drawn in black and white. The fingers are spread wide, the skin textured with tiny marks that look like quick, sketchy lines. A thin gold band wraps around the wrist, simple but sharp against the dark. The whole thing is drawn with pen and marker, no paint—just flat black and white with a single pop of gold. It’s almost like a shadowy sketch that someone polished up later. Check out Toyin Ojih Odutola for more work like this.
