About this work

This print shows a man in a brown suit sitting on a red couch, holding a cigarette. Behind him, a hat rests on the arm. To the right, a woman lies on a bed, her body drawn in simple lines. A violin and bow hang on the wall above her, and the room glows with flat, bright colors. The artist used bold outlines and flat colors to simplify shapes, making the scene look almost like a graphic design. The word "adlibitum" is scrawled across the top. Check out Valerio Adami for more of his stylized work.
