This painting looks like it’s made from cut-out photos glued onto paper. On the left, a woman in a short dress holds what might be a fan or a piece of paper. Above her, a red wagon with a person inside sits on a hill. To the right, a woman lies on a couch, wearing a long dress, while three chickens walk across the top edge and a group of four chickens stand below. The artist used simple black-and-white images and a few colored bits to tell a quiet, odd story. The mix of everyday scenes feels dreamlike.
