About this work

This painting looks messy on purpose. You see dark, tangled lines and shapes—like sticks, feathers, or maybe broken branches—scattered across a light background. Some areas are rough, with thick, uneven strokes, while others feel wiped clean. The whole thing is in black, white, and gray, with no clear focus. The artist used a printing method called *monotype*, where ink is pressed onto a surface and then transferred to paper. That’s why it looks like it was drawn fast and left unfinished.
