Untitled is a 1938 gouache by Bruno Munari, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This drawing shows a person dressed like a giant bottle. Their head is the bottle’s body, with a single eye in the middle and a neck that holds a pair of tongs. The legs are long and thin, ending in shoes, and the whole figure stands against a plain background. The figure’s face is blank except for that one eye, making it look more like an object than a person. The artist used cut-and-pasted paper and simple shapes to create this strange, playful image. If you like this weird mix of shapes, look up Bruno Munari for more of his playful art.
Bruno Munari (24 October 1907 – 29 September 1998) was "one of the greatest actors of 20th-century art, design and graphics".
