About this work

This painting looks like it was made by stamping ink onto paper—maybe even a diary. There are two big weddings happening: one up top with a bride in a long dress and a groom, and another at the bottom with two couples in suits and flower crowns. Pink roses float around, and the background is soft, swirly lines in light blue and gray. The numbers "070576" are stamped in the middle, which might mean the date it was made. The style feels a little rough and handmade, like someone doodled it quickly. If you like this, check out Cengiz Çekil.
