Untitled is a 1971 ink by Nye Ffarrabas Geoffrey Hendricks, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This print shows two people facing each other in a simple, black-and-white style. The person on the left wears a dotted dress and holds a small bouquet. The person on the right is dressed in a suit, also holding flowers. Behind them, text looks like an old event announcement—words like "divorce proceedings" and "property distribution" are visible. The mix of formal clothes and legal text feels oddly modern for a scene that looks old-fashioned. The artist used a printing method that lets the ink sit on top of the surface, creating a slightly rough look. Check out lithography to see how this kind of print was made.
Nye Ffarrabas Geoffrey Hendricks (1931–2018) was an American artist.
