Untitled is a 2003 watercolor by Charlene Liu, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This painting shows two dirt bikes in mid-air, tangled together like a crash. One rider is upside down, arms flailing, while the other bike is flipped sideways. The background is a messy mix of bright colors—blurry streaks of yellow, pink, and green—with scattered leaves, flowers, and bits of paper floating everywhere. The whole scene looks like it’s made from torn pieces of paper stuck onto the canvas, then painted over with watercolor. It’s chaotic but playful, like a sketch that got too wild.
