About this work

This painting looks like a mix of shapes and colors. There’s a circle of lines in the center, with squares inside it—red, black, and yellow. Outside the circle, the background is full of thin, crisscrossing lines in red, blue, and green, all layered over a pale yellow base. The artist used a mix of printing methods to create this piece, blending traditional and digital techniques. The way the lines and shapes overlap gives it a busy, almost chaotic feel. Next, check out woodcut to see how this technique works.
