Untitled is a 1970 by Cildo Meireles, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This is a green Brazilian one cruziero bill with a stamped design. On the right side, there’s a profile of a woman’s head in a circle, looking to the left. The word "UM CRUZEIRO" is printed below it. On the left side, the number "1" is stamped large, and the word "SEXO" is written vertically in uneven letters. The bill has the same design on both sides, making it look like a mirror. The artist used rubber stamps to print on the money itself. Look up Cildo Meireles to see more of his work with everyday objects.
