About this work

This print is mostly a soft peach background with two gray shapes. One shape looks like a leaf or a wave, and the other is a jagged, uneven form. The edges are clean but not perfectly straight, giving it a simple, modern feel. The artist used a mix of digital printing and an older method called lithography—ink on a flat stone—to make the colors stand out. The signature in the corner says "Diane Neumaier, 2009."
