Untitled is a 1993 oil by Elena del Rivero, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This painting is all black and white lines and smudges. The texture looks like it’s made of scribbles, typewritten letters, and pencil marks. There’s no clear shape or picture—just a busy, tangled mess of marks. The title says *Carta a la Madre* ("Letter to the Mother"), but you wouldn’t guess it from the image. The date "Noviembre 93" is scrawled in the corner, and the words "Madrid" appear faintly. If you like this kind of abstract work, check out Elena del Rivero.
