About this work

This is a black-and-white sketch of a bearded man’s face. His hair is curly and wild, his eyebrows thick, and his eyes stare straight ahead with a serious look. The lines are rough and fast, like they were drawn quickly. The artist signed it in the corner, but we don’t know who the man is. The paper looks smooth, almost like it was printed instead of drawn by hand. If you like this style, look up lithography to see how it works.
