This painting shows a cow’s face made of big, flat colors. The cow’s eye is blue, and its nose is black. Around the cow are words like “HOUS” and “AIR” cut into the picture, mixed with green, orange, and pink shapes. The artist used wood to carve the design before printing it, which is why it looks blocky. The colors are bright but uneven, like someone painted over old wood. Look up woodcut to see how this technique works.
