This painting shows a mix of dark blues, purples, and pale yellows in rough, uneven shapes. The top half is mostly deep colors with jagged lines, while the bottom half has lighter patches that look like trees or waves. The edges are uneven, almost like the paper was torn or cut by hand. The artist used a woodcut method, where they carved into wood and stamped it onto paper. This makes the lines and textures look sharp and slightly messy at the same time.
