This print shows a tall, stylized figure holding a violin. The background is mostly black with sharp white lines—like rays or music notes—spilling out from the figure’s head. The edges of the woodcut are decorated with swirls and small star-like shapes. The artist carved this entirely by hand, using only black ink on paper. That’s why the lines are so bold and the shapes so clean. If you like this look, check out woodcut next.
