About this work

This sketch is all jagged lines and overlapping shapes. Buildings twist like they’re melting, with staircases and windows drawn in sharp, uneven strokes. The word "STORA" is half-visible on the left, and the whole thing feels like it’s moving fast—even though it’s just black marks on paper. The artist signed it "EMANU-EL" in the corner, with "37" next to it. That’s all the clue you get about when or why it was made. Next, check out lithography to see how this kind of print was made.
