About this work

This sketch looks like a rough, angular building drawn in pencil. The lines are thick and overlapping, making sharp shapes that don’t quite match real-life forms. Some areas are filled with tiny, crisscrossed strokes, while others stay loose and sketchy. The artist seems to be playing with how light and shadow might look on a structure, but it’s hard to tell what the building is supposed to be. The paper has a few faint numbers and scribbles in the corners, like notes or measurements. If you like this style, check out cross-hatching to see how artists build texture with lines.
