This painting is a folded piece of paper with printing on both sides. It's a small work, only about 7 inches by 5 inches when folded. You can unfold it to see more, and it gets a bit bigger. The printing is simple, with basic shapes and lines. It was made by a group called Hi Red Center in the 1960s. They were part of a bigger art movement that liked to experiment. Check out the technique of lithography to learn more about how it was made.
