About this work

This painting shows a dark room with bright green rectangles and blue circles. The walls are made of thin black lines, like a wire frame. A small window or door sits in the middle, but it’s mostly filled with the same green as the rectangles. The floor has rows of blue circles, some lighter than others. The blue circles might look like tiles or even bubbles. The green shapes feel out of place but also like they belong. The artist used a printmaking method and added things by hand. Next, check out lithography to see how this kind of print works.
