This image shows lots of small squares with messy, tangled lines. Some squares have thick black marks, others are faint. The lines look like they’re scribbled fast, almost like doodles. The paper edges are rough, and the whole thing feels a bit like torn pages stuck together. The artist used different tools—ink, pencil, even airbrush—to make these marks. Each square is its own little puzzle, but they all fit into one big grid. Try looking up Jim Shaw next—he made this.
