About this work

This drawing looks like scribbles and blobs on a light background. There’s a tall, wobbly shape on the left, a few circles with lines inside, and a long, thin form that curves like a question mark. Some marks look like they were made with a pen or brush, while others are just smudges. The lines are uneven, like someone drew fast or let the ink run. The artist used a method where ink is pushed into a metal plate to make the lines pop. This kind of drawing is called an etching. Next, check out etching to see how it works.
