This drawing shows rows of wavy lines forming repeating shapes. The lines are all ink, stacked in layers to create peaks and valleys. Everything is in black and white, with no color or background detail. The artist used tiny, overlapping strokes to build up the forms. It looks like they drew the same shape over and over, but slightly shifted each time. Try looking up cross-hatching to see how this technique works.
