This painting is two tall panels side by side. Each panel has black background with bright stripes—red, yellow, and orange—fanning out from the center. The lines are thick and bold, some overlapping, some fading. The artist used colored pencils to make these sharp lines. The effect looks almost like light beams or rays shooting outward. Next, check out Mark Grotjahn to see more of his geometric work.
