Pappelallee im Wallis is a 1929 oil by Martha Stettler, held at Kunsthaus Zürich.
This painting depicts a serene landscape with a row of tall trees on the left side, their trunks and branches rendered in shades of gray and brown. The trees are set against a backdrop of rolling hills and mountains, with a few buildings visible in the distance. The overall atmosphere is one of calmness and tranquility. A closer look at the painting reveals the artist's use of bold brushstrokes and vivid colors to capture the texture and depth of the natural scenery. The trees appear to be swaying gently in the breeze, while the hills and mountains rise up in the background, creating a sense of depth and perspective. The painting is a beautiful example of Martha Stettler's skill as a landscape artist, and it invites the viewer to step into the peaceful world she has created.
