This painting is just black paper with rows of tiny white dots. The dots cluster in uneven shapes, like scattered light or a shadowy map. Some areas are dense, others sparse, with a few lone dots floating in the dark. The dots aren’t drawn—they’re holes punched through the paper. It looks like the artist cut them out by hand, one by one. Next, check out Mira Schendel, the artist who made this.
