This drawing shows three women standing close together, their heads tilted slightly. Their faces are simple but expressive, with soft shading around the eyes and mouths. The lines are loose, almost sketchy, and the whole piece is in black and white. The artist used a technique that lets them layer ink onto a flat stone before pressing paper onto it. This makes the lines look both smooth and slightly rough at the same time. If you like this style, look up lithography next.
