About this work

This print shows a dark, stormy scene with a lone boat rocking on choppy water. The sky is thick with swirling lines, almost like ink smudges. Below, waves crash hard against the shore, and the whole image feels rough and urgent. The artist used a sharp tool to scratch into the metal plate before printing.
