About this work

This print is mostly black with bright pops of red and yellow. On the left, two red lines run vertically, fading into the black. In the center, a red square holds a white shape that looks like a person with a dot for a head. Below it, a red squiggle sits on a black base. The bold colors and simple shapes make it feel bold and modern. The artist used a printing method that lets ink sit on top of the paper. Look up Raúl Cattelani to see more of his work.
